Nokia has enriched the range of mobile handsets on the North American market, where the producer enjoys great popularity. The line of innovations includes three CDMA phones (2365i, 2865i and 6175i) and one of GSM standard (6126).

The price for these headsets varies with the 2365i being a low-cost folding handset, the monoblock 2865i and the folding 6175i promised as mid-priced. The 6126, the one from the GSM gang, will be high-priced.

The Nokia 6175i phone is a full-featured, featherweight 3.4-ounce phone with a 1.3 megapixel camera and a 4x digital zoom, its TFT internal LCD display can perceive and deliver 262,000 colors. It also boasts of Bluetooth wireless connectivity.

One of the “enviable” features of the phone is that it can print pictures from the handset without prior copying them to a PC. That is a good idea and, it can afford it with such a number of colors!

Both 2365i and 2865i are equipped with 128 by 160 pixel display, the former weighing 3.5 and the latter 3.7 ounces. There you can also find a hands-free speakerphone and built-in Bluetooth wireless networking.

As for the GSM 6126, it is as light as 3.9 ounces (112 grams) and as slim as 1.9 inches (48mm). It has a soft touch finish and a button to flip it open, which can induce a sparkle of envy. Its display is 320 by 240 pixels and is of 16.7 million colors. It can play all sorts of music (MP3, AAC, AAC+, and eAAC+) and supports video and audio streaming, welcomes 3D games. It also has a number of standard features like to do lists, etc.

The CDMA handsets are scheduled to go onto the market in the H2 of 2006, while the GSM is expected to arrive earlier and hit the shelves in Q2 this year.
